Magnetic is a personal and intimate look at the author's coming out. Through cyanotype prints, sketches and fragments of text, Astrid creates a representation of the process of coming out, the thoughts and experiences she had before, during and now. Astrid realized in 2020 that she needed to come out as gay. She printed the photos as cyanotypes and scanned these, adding text and notebook entries made during this period of time.
