As a writer, I've often been told to keep my ears open for overheard bits of dialogue while out in the world. I often go for walks around my neighborhood and when I catch a gem of a line from somebody I walk past, I make note of it on my phone. The good people of the East Village, and those passing through, have delivered some entertaining overhead bits. Some sweet, some salty, some funny, some sad. You never know what you're going to hear...
Accompanying the text of overhead quotes, I made collage images from magazine clippings (and in this issue, an actual scan of a Q-Tip).
