Created by Ren Strapp of Portland, Oregon. Nominated for Best Comic at the Broken Pencil Zine Awards 2020. Millennial Lesbian was my Pride project for 2019. I sent out a survey at the beginning of May asking lesbians from around the world to tell me about their experiences of being a lesbian in 2019. I received dozens and dozens of responses! I selected 30 of the responses and illustrated their stories with daily comics that I posted every day in June, leading up to the debut of my comic zine at Portland Indie Con. The inspiration for this zine was to document history as it's happening and to find my community during a time when I was feeling very lonely. In doing so, I ended up uniting and giving voice to others in the community, as well.
