The Beginning of Female Editors zine is about the history of female editors in Hollywood and specifically about 4 editors that were pioneers of film editing.
I created this zine to show how editing and the films we watch as we know it would not have been possible without women. It amazed me to find out that editing was a job only for women until men realized what a powerful tool it can be. I hope by reading this zine you not only have a greater appreciation for film editing, but also for the women who pioneered the field.
